We are a dedicated non-profit social enterprise committed to transforming lives through medical intervention. Founded by an individual who understands first hand the challenges of living with congenital deformities, our mission is to provide life changing reconstructive surgeries to children and adults with treatable conditions such as bow legs, knock knees, cleft palettes, hip deformities and contractures. We focus mainly on underprivileged communities in South Africa and beyond, ensuring that those who cannot afford essential medical care receive the support they need to lead pain-free, mobile and fulfilling lives.
We are proud to collaborate with leading orthopedic specialists who are linked to reputable hospitals ensuring that our patients received top-tier medical care.
Before surgery, patients undergo a thorough evaluation process to ensure they are well prepared for the procedure.
During the hospital stay, patients receive attentive and compassionate care from the relative dedicated medical teams.
After surgery, patients receive check-ups, physical and emotional therapy, and adaptive devices, like wheelchairs, crutches, leg braces etc.
More healthcare workers are needed to serve the millions of children living with treatable disabilities. We are training them regularly.
Every day, our clinical teams provide life-changing surgery to children suffering from a wide range of disabilities mainly reconstructive surgeries.
Help Karabo Mofolo Walk Freely
Meet Karabo Mofolo, a year old brave boy born in Soweto with a condition called Anisomelia—a significant difference in leg length that makes every step a challenge.
Unlike other children his age, one of Karabo’s legs is noticeably shorter than the other. This condition affects his balance, mobility, and ability to perform simple activities like:
Riding a bicycle – He struggles with coordination.
Walking and running – His limp causes strain on his back and hips.
Everyday life – Simple tasks that most kids take for granted is a struggle for him. Learn more
Help Ahmed Mgweqo Walk Freely
Ahmed Mgweqo was born in South Africa at Fezile Dabi Provincial Hospital in Sasolburg. He should be like any other teenager—laughing with his friends, playing sports, and dreaming about his future. But for the past 12 years, he has been trapped in a body that won’t cooperate.
Ahmed was a perfectly healthy child when he was born. However, at just four years old, his legs began to fail him. He lost his balance, struggled to walk, and gradually, everyday tasks became impossible without help. Learn more
